The CDW Partner Specialist position is focused on supporting CDW Account Managers with technical presales questions on a specific assigned vendor partner while conducting proactive activities to increase sales. Partner Specialists will have direct day-to-day contact with CDW Account Managers and engagement with customers. The Partner Specialist role is also responsible for educating Account Managers on the technologies and resources available to them for their assigned vendor partner.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for answering presales technical questions relating to their assigned partner or category
  • Responsible for reviewing quotes and orders to minimize RMAs and identify potential add-on opportunities.
  • Educating account managers on the products and resources to help them become as self-sufficient as possible in regard to the product and product offerings.
  • Identify tools for increasing CDW Account Manager productivity.
  • Obtain relevant industry certifications and attend approved outside trainings as required
  • Daily tracking of interactions with Account Managers, training and other job-related activities.
  • In office 1-2 times a week to build connections with sales.
  • Conduct conference calls and customer presentations as necessary.
  • Work with other departments at CDW to further relationships with customers, CDW, Partners, and Account Managers.
  • Assist assigned Partners with internal marketing efforts at CDW designed to increase sales as well as participate in events in person (which some could be outside work hours).
  • Concentrate on certain areas of technology driven by partner focus or company technology objectives.

What you’ll need to succeed:

Must-have

  • 3-year college degree or 2 years industry experience in a pre-sales consultation role.
  • 2+ years’ experience in IT Channel Sales.
  • Strong passion and eagerness for learning and teaching others
  • Pipeline tracking and management
  • Outgoing personality
  • Customer Focus and Service minded
  • Ability to think creatively and come up with proactive ideas that will increase sales.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and in a constructive manner with management, peers and coworkers.
  • Proven group presentations skills.
  • Motivated and self-starting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Team Player and time management
  • Concentrate on certain areas of technology driven by partner focus or company technology objectives
  • Experience in technology sales, a plus
  • Knowledge of Entire Apple portfolio and Apple Business Manager, a plus

Salaries are based on a 40-hour workweek, and paid on a bi-weekly payroll schedule.

    Pay: $ 57,000-85,000 depending on experience and skill set
