SUMMARY Able to assess and monitor the nutritional status of patients as it relates to disease state including patients on enteral and parenteral nutrition. They will be proficient in counseling and instructing patients and their families according to their prescribed diet. Must be able to adapt standard diets to individual physical, cultural, socioeconomic conditions and religious preferences. QUALIFICATIONS * Masters of Science in Nutrition or related field from an accredited institution * Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) * Licensed by Georgia's State Board of Licensed Dietitians Commission on Dietetic Registration * Minimum 2 years of experience as a clinical dietitian in an acute care inpatient setting, long term care facility, long term acute care facility, rehabilitation facility, and/or outpatient nutrition program * Certified Diabetes Educator certification by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators or Certified as a Diabetes Educator within one (1) year of hire. * Certifications in specialty area Preferred Equal Opportunity Employer-Minorities/Females/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity .
