What to Expect

Join Tesla’s vehicle operations team to support Tesla's Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), Full Self-Driving (FSD) (Supervised), in real-world ride-sharing scenarios. You’ll act as the bridge between FSD (Supervised) and passengers, ensuring seamless pickups, drop-offs, and route navigation in dynamic environments. This role demands adaptability, customer service skills, and a commitment to refining ADAS technology through hands-on passenger interactions.

This opportunity will require the flexibility of traveling to domestic destinations, as necessary.

Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes at least one of your normal working days be a weekend day. Able to work a Day, Afternoon, or Night shift. The Afternoon and Night shift pays 15% in addition to the hourly base pay for the role.


What You'll Do
  • Operate Tesla engineering vehicles with FSD (Supervised) during 6–8 hour daily shifts, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort
  • Manage rider interactions (e.g., greetings, route adjustments, troubleshooting passenger concerns)
  • Navigate environments (e.g., construction zones, pedestrian-heavy areas, traffic congestion) while monitoring FSD (Supervised) performance, and intervene as necessary to ensure safe operations
  • Ensure vehicle readiness via pre-shift safety checks (sensor calibration, software status, cleanliness)
  • Travel domestically as needed to support testing in diverse cities and weather conditions
  • Provide feedback and suggest process improvements to optimize data collection
  • Write detailed daily drive reports documenting observations and issues

What You'll Bring
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Strong situational awareness for hazards (e.g., cyclists, jaywalkers, obscured signage)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Tech-savvy with experience managing tools for data collection and troubleshooting with advanced PC skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Overtime is also typical for this position but not guaranteed
  • This is a safety-sensitive position, subject to drug testing in accordance with Tesla policy and applicable law

Expected Compensation
$25.25 - $30.60/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
