Accountant / Accounts Officer Required Urgently!

Location: Dubai, UAE | Availability: Immediate Joiners Only

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Finance Department in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting transactions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in coordination with the finance team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements, supplier ledgers, and inter-company accounts.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
  • Support in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Assist in external and internal audits by providing required documentation and reports.
  • Monitor and control cash flow and petty cash transactions.
  • Coordinate with departments for expense verification and cost control.
  • Prepare year-end closing and financial summaries in line with company and audit requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA is an advantage).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE (preferably in trading or manufacturing sector).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and VAT regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP,Tally, QuickBooks, or other accounting software.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and financial data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills (English is mandatory; Arabic is a plus).
  • UAE residency or transferable visa is preferred.

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • UAE work experience is mandatory.
  • SAP Business One knowledge is an advantage.
