.5 Teacher Assistant(s) (Kindergarten) (Part-time: 3 1/2 hours per day) JobID: 2440 Position Type: Support Staff/Teacher Assistant Date Posted: 5/15/2025 Location: TBD Date Available: 09/04/2025 &nbsp&nbspAdditional Information: Show/Hide Qualifications: * High school diploma * Highly Qualified status as per the State of New Jersey (associate's degree - or higher, completed at least two years of study (60 college credits) at an institution of higher education, and/or has met a rigorous standard of quality through a formal State assessment) * Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and school staff * Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status Responsibilities: * Assist in the monitoring of classroom activities and student learning under the direction of the classroom teacher, principal or other designated personnel; * Promote the achievement of students' educational goals and learning objectives by providing supplemental and clerical services to assist the classroom teacher; * Responsible for prescribed non-instructionaly duties, which support classroom operations and student learning with direction from classroom teacher; * Participate in inservice training as assigned * Assist in providing the emotional and physical well-being of students; * Support student development of academic, cognitive and functional skills; * Support implementation of behavior intervention plans as well as appropriate services as described in the IEP. Salary: In accordance with the established TEAM Salary Guide currently ranging from Step 1 - $13,70 to $24,109 Benefits: Full time employees are eligible for medical, prescription and dental benefits.
